Steps to Use Valued Direction to Manage Anxiety

A good way to start is by asking yourself what you would like people to say about you when you're not present, or what you would like to have accomplished at the end of your life.

2. Examine Your Current Life

Reflect on how your current life aligns with your values. Are your daily actions and decisions in line with what you value most? If not, identify the areas where there is a discrepancy..

Break down your values into concrete, actionable goals. If one of your values is health, a values-based goal might be to exercise regularly or eat healthily. These goals should be flexible and adaptable, so you can adjust them as circumstances change.
